THIS PROGRAM WORKS WELL IF YOU:

  • Feel there is value in a self-management approach to chronic pain
  • Are ready to take the courageous first steps to improve your quality of life
  • Have not been hospitalized within past 6 months

Program Features
In a supportive group setting you will practice techniques modified for your situation:

  • Education in self-management of chronic pain
  • Low physical impact postures (optional)
  • Breathing Techniques
  • Relaxation Training
  • Meditation
  • Journaling

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO:

  • Attend weekly sessions
  • Participate actively in the program
  • Practice learned strategies at home

The program runs for 8 weeks – one 90 minute session weekly at Regent Health & Chiropractic Centre, 150 Locke Street South, Hamilton, Ontario Wednesdays:  11 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Cost – $250  includes 20-minute one-on-one assessment.
