Self Management of Chronic Pain Program

- Feel there is value in a self-management approach to chronic pain
- Are ready to take the courageous first steps to improve your quality of life
- Have not been hospitalized within past 6 months
Program Features
In a supportive group setting you will practice techniques modified for your situation:
- Education in self-management of chronic pain
- Low physical impact postures (optional)
- Breathing Techniques
- Relaxation Training
- Meditation
- Journaling
PARTICIPANTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO:
- Attend weekly sessions
- Participate actively in the program
- Practice learned strategies at home
The program runs for six weeks – one 45 minute session weekly.
