Self Management of Chronic Pain Program

Almost 30% of the adult Canadian population have to live with chronic pain.

  • Are ready to take the courageous first steps to improve your quality of life
  • Have not been hospitalized within past 6 months

Program Features
In a supportive group setting you will practice techniques modified for your situation:

  • Education in self-management of chronic pain
  • Low physical impact postures (optional)
  • Breathing Techniques
  • Relaxation Training
  • Meditation
  • Journaling

PARTICIPANTS WILL BE EXPECTED TO:

  • Attend weekly sessions
  • Participate actively in the program
  • Practice learned strategies at home

The program runs for six weeks – one 45 minute session weekly.
