Are you eligible?
If you have been practicing yoga for at least twelve months you are eligible to join this shorter intensive program. Sometimes students who practice at home and not at a studio wonder if they would be eligible. Yes is the short answer. For this intensive program, the 8 week internship is completed after the in-class course.
An online webinar on the basics of starting a yoga business Register and pay $450 non-refundable deposit and begin home study at least 4 weeks prior to your in class training, with mentor review of assignments. You must complete the home study prior to your in class training. Distance Learning covers these topics:
- Developing breath awareness
- Yoga Philosophy, Lifestyle and Ethics
- Teaching Yoga
Next program date in Ontario (weekdays):
November 3, 2014 to November 14, 2014 – LEVEL 1
The course can be split and completed in 2 years.
Level 1 must be completed before Level 2.

February 6, 2015 - home study prerequisite
March 9, 2015 to April 3, 2015 - Level 1 and Level 2
In class: weekdays only Monday to Friday 8 am to 6 pm.
Practicum: 8-week Internship in home community with online mentoring.
Level 1 – $1,555 includes tax. Save $55 when full payment is made at least 3 months before start of program.
As part of our mission to create a more just society, students of alternative health care, healing arts, community development, and social services may apply for discounted rate in Level 1 from $500 to $1,000. Level 2 – $1,380 includes tax. Save $45 when full payment is made at least 3 months before start of program. Late registration fee of $100 is applied when payment is made within 4 weeks of start of program.

Cost of books recommended – $80 approx.
A $450 non-refundable deposit (plus tax) is required to secure your space. Balance is due 4 weeks before training begins. Convenient payment plan (with admin fee) is available to cover the balance of tuition.
Payments are only refundable if you cancel with 4 weeks or more advanced notice. Cancellation must be in written form and there is a $50 processing fee that is non-refundable. If for some reason you begin the course and cannot finish the program, you will not receive a refund; however, you may transfer into another program with a $150 transfer fee. Students are expected to complete the course within 2 years.
