Yoga is an ancient method of creating a union between the mind, body and spirit. This practice has popularized in the medical field to cure common ailments, provide relief from stresses and to promote an overall healthy well-being. Yoga greatly promotes a more holistic and natural form of health care.
Body Therapies Yoga Training offers a variety of yoga training sessions and retreats in Toronto throughout the month of May. These trainings are intended to enhance the person’s realm of knowledge and techniques of basic and advanced yoga.
The focuses of our trainings and retreats are to spread yoga meditation and Ayurvedic teachings for self-care and the care for others. Our trainings are accessible to those with extensive and minimal backgrounds in yoga therapies and techniques.
We have certification trainings available in 200, 300 and 500-hour programs. The combination of a 200 hour and 3 one hundred hour courses lead to a 500-hour certification. The programs are designed to offer basic understanding of yoga to enhancing knowledge and skills in mind-body health care.
Programs are scheduled to begin in May. Registration information is listed on our website. A 6-month background in yoga meditation is all that’s required to enroll in the 200-hour course. From there, as you move along through the trainings, you’ll become more advanced and lead to a 500 hour certification to be able to instruct.
We will also be taking another retreat back to Dunville at the end of May. There are still plenty of spots available for the retreat, which will run for the weekend and conclude on Sunday, June 1st, at noon. If you are already booked up that weekend, don’t worry, we have two more weekend retreats in Dunville once the fall rolls around, with one on the weekend of September 27th and another in November, starting on the 22nd.
